Environmental Policy

Hedley 2000 Ltd, who install premises distribution systems cable related interconnection products and associated electrical installations, is committed to protecting the environment in which we operate.

Meeting this commitment is a primary management objective and the individual and collective responsibility of all employees of Hedley 2000 Ltd and other interested parties, including Shareholders, Customers and Suppliers. In support of this commitment, we shall:

• Integrate environmental considerations into our day to day operations, plans and decisions.
• Maximise environmental performance by maintaining an ISO14001 environmental management system that establishes goals and objectives to review on a regular basis in order to drive continual improvement.
• Protect our environment by reducing the environmental impact of our activities including prevention of pollution and conserve our natural resources through specific management programmes for continual improvement aimed at:
  • waste reduction
  • reduce vehicle emissions
  • reusing and recycling materials where appropriate
  • responsibility managing energy use
• Acquaint all employees with this policy and train our employees so that they take personal accountability for their actions which impact on the environment.
• Comply with all applicable UK and EU environmental laws and Local Authority Regulations.
• Take ownership and promote in as far as possible a positive environmental culture in the local community and beyond by selecting environmentally responsible suppliers and communicating environmental awareness to our customers.
• We will regularly review and improve this policy, communicate it to all and participate in regular discussions about environmental issues.
